The apex predator of Red Sea reefs. Giant Trevally (GT) are built like a truck — silver, hard-fighting, and fast. They patrol shallow reef edges and drop-offs hunting baitfish and even hunting birds. A Red Sea GT on a popper or jig is one of the most electrifying experiences in saltwater fishing.
Cast big and over reef edges and drop-offs at dawn and dusk, or speed- the deeper edges. Heavy gear (PE 6–10) and a locked — GTs dive straight for the reef.
