A slender, indigo-blue pelagic shark with very long pectoral fins and a graceful, gliding swimming style. One of the most wide-ranging Mediterranean sharks, it patrols deep offshore water off Egypt's northern coast.
This is a protected or non-target species — please don't fish for it. If it's accidentally hooked, release it quickly and unharmed.
