We had no idea what we were doing.So we built the thing we needed.

ReefPin started on a bad day on the Mediterranean coast. Two friends in their mid-40s, a cooler, way too much gear, and zero clue where the fish actually were.

The story

The morning trip

Two friends, one cooler, and enough tackle to confuse the shop owner who sold it to us. Rods, reels, and lures we couldn't even name. What we didn't have was a single clue what to do with any of it.

Finding a spot

Hours circling on Google Maps, asking around, getting three different answers from four people. We ended up somewhere. On the water at last, excited, lost, and completely underprepared.

The technique problem

Three YouTube tutorials, one heated argument about sinker weights, and a bent hook later, we were fishing. Sort of. The fish disagreed.

The idea

Sitting on the back of that boat, waiting for a bite that never came, the question got loud: why is there no single place for any of this? Spots, conditions, techniques, species. Built for Egypt, built for people who are still figuring it out.
